Headset status messages

Various information and status messages can be heard through your VoCoVo Link Headset.

Talk-Lock on

The Headset microphone is locked on, everything you say will be broadcast across the conference. Pressing the PTT button will deactivate Talk-Lock. Talk-Lock will deactivate automatically after 3 minutes.

Out of Range

You have moved beyond the range of the Hub. The Headset will not be on the conference until you move back into range.

Mute off

The Headset is no longer muted. You can now hear the conference as normal.

Connected

You have moved back into range of the Hub and your Headset is now connected to the conference.

Mute

The Headset is currently muted. You will get this reminder every 30 seconds while the Headset is in Mute mode.

Battery critical

The Headset is at or below 8% charge and should be put on charge immediately.

Joining Conference 1

The Headset is working correctly and has connected to the conference.

Talk-Lock

The Headset microphone is locked on. You will get this reminder every 30 seconds while the Headset is in Talk-Lock mode.

Conference busy

There are currently 6 other Headsets broadcasting on the conference. Wait a few seconds and try again. This message should only occur in situations where you have 7 or 8 Headsets registered to the Hub, or in Dual-Hub mode.

Battery low

The Headset is at or below 19% charge and should be put on charge as soon as possible.

Headset not subscribed

The Headset is not paired with a Hub. This can usually be cleared by placing the Headset into the Dock and taking it out again, or by re-registering the Headset.

Talk-Lock off

The microphone is no longer locked on. To be heard over the conference, you will need to press and hold the PTT button or reactivate Talk-Lock.

Leaving Conference 1

The Headset has lost connection with the Hub. This can happen if the Headset is out of range or if it’s being powered off.
